I don't know about you, but with my body type I always find it hard to dress for the cooler seasons.
Warm weather is easy - Dresses are my thing! I chuck on a maxi or miracle dress and I can dress it down enough to do school pick up or up enough to go to a nice dinner. Nothing clingy or restricting. Just cool comfort.
Autumn and Winter are so much harder. Jeans that fit me in the waist never fit in the legs. Jumpers that are flowy enough in the mid section are always too big and baggy in the shoulders. I can just never get comfy and find myself changing into trackies as soon as physically possible.
However, with the styles I'm seeing come through recently I am genuinely excited about dressing for the cooler months this year! Starting with the gorgeous new collection of knitted kimonos from my favourite supplier, Bijou the Label.
So what to wear on the bottom this season? After I just said how much I hate restricting jeans! I know I can't be the only one out there who loves the look of skinnies but can never find the right combo of stretch, length, comfort, thickness, ankle/waist tightness ratio...I could go on and on.
Never fear! We've found exactly what you need (I just started singing in my head "I got what you need, so tell me what you need" #90'skid).
Our new Ava Ripped Jeggings have all of the above. Now I know you all say NO WAY to Jeggings. I usually do too. But I absolutely, cross my heart promise that nobody will be able to tell they're not jeans - except for you who will feel like you're in comfortable leggings all day long.
Trans-seasonal dressing can be a seriously tricky business which I will always do my best to try and help you with.
What are your Autumn styling tips? Would love to hear them!
